@@Dzordzikk It was not the target to build a lightweight stol plane. It was to build an RC replica of Mike Patey's full scale bushplane prototype called SCRAPPY. There is no way to put that many functions in it and keep it light weight. The transforming wing reduces take off and landing speed anyways. If you don't know the full scale version built by Mike Patey, just search for Mike Patey Scrappy on UA-cam. You will find a ton of build videos. Full scale SCRAPPY didn't end up as a lightweight stol plane äs well. Same situation as for RC SCRAPPY.

@@RCnerd74 I know Scrappy, but dont understand why you build it. All you add into it only add weight and reducing start and landong speed is very low. Betterto build it without it.

He tried to mimic the original Scrappy by doing the double slats.

I simply rebuilt rhe SCRAPPY transforming wing made by Mike Patey. This is why it looks the way it looks.

Well, the weight doesn't help to make it fly easy. But as soon as you are familiar with it, it's fun to fly. But always a little challenge.

Thanks. I have no tools to measure the effect. I'm just happy for the perfectly working transforming wing. This was pure try and error. But it ended up well.

@@RCnerd74 Ah, OK, thought it should be doable with regular telemetry data (GPS, maybe pitot, AOA from an IMU)

Thanks. Hot parts are not covered on top. No heat issues also in Summer. Liquid tape can be removed without residues. Not possible with conformal coating. And colored liquid tape makes it easier to check, if everything is covered correctly.

@@RCnerd74thank you. Have you ever used liquid tape on a caddx vista? Because I’m trying to waterproof mine and I’m not sure if I should use it with the case or not

Did you already reverse the throttle channel on your transmitter? Sounds like your zero throttle position is full throttle on the ESC. Like this, the ESC enters programming mode and the motor only beeps but cannot spin. Hope, this solves your issue.

Unfortunately, this receiver doesn't work with any Futaba Transmitter. My idea was to use it with my T14SG. No chance.

The timing setting depends on the motor you use. Perhaps you can find a data sheet from your motor including the recommended timing. If not i would recommend to begin with 32KHz. This is stock setting on some ESCs.

@@BossRCflight I have a tube laying around. Not sure if it is the one from the Flitework Extra 120cm. Diameter is around 13mm, length is 45.8cm. You can measure your fuselage tube and wing tube inner diameter. If it fits, you can tell me if you are interested.
